Practical workflow automation for owner-led businesses

Start with one workflow.

Start with one workflow check. Daniel looks at a repeated task in your business, names the bottleneck, and tells you whether automation, custom software, or a simpler process change is worth it.

GDPR + Austrian DSGEU AI Act–alignedLocally hostedHuman-in-the-loop

Locally hosted means your data stays on hardware you control — or in our own EU infrastructure. Never shared with a third party without your written sign-off.

A small AI workshop for SME owners — five participants on laptops around a long reclaimed-wood table, the facilitator mid-stride at a glass writing board showing an ascending copper-orange line chart, in a converted industrial workspace with arched windows and exposed brick.

About

Daniel Kruger

Technical Functional Architect · Linz, Austria

Hi — I'm Daniel. I've spent thirty years helping companies turn cumbersome workflows into calmer systems: track-building machines at Plasser & Theurer, energy automation at Keba, and eight years at CompuGroup Medical helping cancer hospitals stop typing the same data twice. AssistanceManager brings that same craft to smaller businesses in Linz: understand the real workflow, remove the avoidable manual work, and only automate where the value is clear.

What that means for you

  • You hold the kill-switch. Sandboxed agents pause before every irreversible action and wait for your yes. Audit trail of every move. Worst case: nothing happens until you say go.
  • You choose where it lives. Local on your hardware, or in our own EU-hosted cloud that we run ourselves. Nothing reaches a third party without your written sign-off.
  • You're the operator, not the engineer. Built for the Geschäftsführer, the family-business successor, and the solo professional whose week is eaten by repeated admin.

Courses · Cohort 1 scheduled

Cohort 1 is on the calendar. Reserve your seat.

Six weekly live sessions on Zoom. The Hormozi low-hanging-fruit playbook adapted for an Austrian SME: how to revive dormant clients with one auto-mail sequence, the website refresh checklist nobody runs, and three SME automations worth testing first. Dates and time are on the Events page.

Boundaries

What we don't do

Senior buyers trust what their providers refuse. Here's our list.

  • We don't sell ChatGPT subscriptions.
  • We don't send your data to OpenAI by default. Locally hosted is the default; cloud is opt-in with your written consent.
  • We don't run generic prompt-engineering courses. Every workshop is built around your operations.
  • We don't work with crypto schemes, MLM, gambling, or dark-pattern UX.
  • We don't promise revenue numbers. Time-back hours, yes. Sales lifts, no — those depend on your market, not our agent.

FAQ

Honest answers to the obvious questions

Seven things people ask before they book. If you have an eighth, write to dan@assistancemanager.com — Daniel reads every mail himself.

Are you taking paying clients yet?

The free 30-minute audit is open now. Courses Cohort 1 and the first weekend workshop in Linz are both on the calendar — see the Events page for exact dates and to reserve a seat. Agent-as-a-Service is in early access now — join the list and we'll reach out to scope your fit.

Where does my data live?

Locally hosted by default. Agents run on hardware you control — your laptop, your office server, or your VPS — inside an isolated sandbox. Your data doesn't leave your network unless you sign off on a specific cloud integration in writing.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, before the prep email goes out. Standard one-pager, mutual. We keep zero copies of your data after the engagement ends.

Are you a one-person shop or a team?

Daniel is the only engineer. A native-speaker co-host joins workshops for German-language client work. For larger AaaS deployments, we bring in vetted Linz-based engineers on a per-project basis — small, deliberately.

I'm 25 and my parent owns a business. Can I bring them?

Yes — actively encouraged. Workshops are designed so a 25-year-old and a 55-year-old leave with the same skills. Two seats from one family is one of the highest-leverage uses of a workshop slot.

What does it cost when you do launch?

Workshops, full audits, and AaaS all have planned pricing. Subscribe to the newsletter and you'll see the price the day each one opens, with a meaningful first-clients discount built in.

Why trust an IT person I've never heard of?

Don't trust yet — verify. 30 years building production systems inside Plasser & Theurer, Keba Group, and CompuGroup Medical, with real audit trails. LinkedIn is linked next to the headshot above and in the footer below. The free audit is the verification step; workshops are the commitment step.
